Food Service Assistant

 

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an efficient and professional food services team member to join our Moran Sylvania home, located in an urban setting near recreational and social venues.

You will work with enthusiastic and diverse people in modern facilities and be supported to develop your skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Plating food at mealtimes
- Preparing food under the direction of chef
- Keeping assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
- Restocking supplies and receiving goods
- Recording temperatures, complete checklists
- Maintaining personal hygiene standards
- Working as a member of the food services team

 

Skills/Requirements:
  • Interested in food, nutrition or general well-being and their benefits
  • Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
  • A person who takes pride in what they do
  • Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
  • Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
