About the Role

We are seeking an experienced LGBTIQA+ Practitioner to join our team at Anglicare Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in building LGBTIQA+ awareness and capacity within our organization and the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a program to build LGBTIQA+ awareness and capacity within Anglicare Victoria and the local community.
  • Provide specialist individual and family counselling services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and gender diverse, intersex, and queer people of all ages, their families, and communities.
  • Build community trust, implement the program, generate referrals, and provide counselling that makes a difference.
  • Build networks, engage stakeholders, and advocate so LGBTIQA+ people can feel safe, affirmed, and connected by family and within their local communities.
