About the Role

The Recruitment Alternative is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Sales Support Specialist (Internal Sales) to join our dedicated account management team.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will work closely with Key Account Managers to build strong customer relationships, provide product information, and undertake various administrative support duties.

Your primary objective will be to exceed customer expectations while maximizing sales in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outbound calls and arrangement of meetings with Account Management team
  • Handling inbound inquiries – calls, emails, and webchat
  • Process quotations and sales orders
  • Lead generation & cold calling
  • Data entry and other administrative ad hoc duties
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar internal sales support and customer service role.
  • Previous experience in processing orders in a fast-paced environment is desirable
  • Experience in calendar and booking management.
  • Experience in cold calling & telemarketing to a range of different customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Great team player. Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
