Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to play a key role in managing and enhancing our financial performance and governance.

This role offers broad exposure to both technical accounting and commercial strategy within a dynamic investment environment.

  • Delivering accurate monthly management reports with detailed performance commentary, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Managing complex technical accounting areas including consolidations, acquisitions, disposals, and joint venture arrangements.
  • Drafting technical accounting position papers on matters such as valuations, leasing, and financial instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Accounting Expertise:

  • Preparing quarterly board reports and offering strategic financial insights to investors and senior leadership.
  • Performing financial analysis for assigned portfolios and delivering actionable insights to drive performance.
  • Providing expert guidance on group consolidations and statutory reporting processes.

Financial Governance:

  • Strengthening financial governance through the design and implementation of robust internal controls and procedures.
  • Coordinating budgeting and forecasting in partnership with key stakeholders.

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Assessing and structuring joint ventures and SPVs to align with commercial and strategic goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Commercially astute leader experienced in JV structuring, consolidations, and major property deals.
  • Technically strong accountant with expertise in complex standards and drafting detailed position papers.

Benefits:

  • AUD75 - AUD80 per hour + Hybrid working
  • AUD105,000 - AUD115,000 per annum
  • AUD100,000 - AUD120,000 per annum + Car Park
  • AUD120,000 - AUD140,000 per annum + Super + Bonus
