The Opportunity:

We're seeking a forward-thinking Business Systems Manager to join our high-performing Technology team. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position works within the Technology business unit to provide strategy, delivery, management and improvement of Finance One's IT applications portfolio across all departments.

Every day will offer new challenges; however, your general responsibilities will include:

Information Systems Strategy & Applications Management

Provide management, strategy, and improvement of Finance One's business applications, information and data.

Deliver application planning and engage with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with business processes over the short, medium and long term.

Perform market analysis for replacement technologies and identify best-value options.

Manage vendor contracts and relationships, ensuring that engagement and communication are consistent throughout the partnership.

Track uptime of critical business applications, managing vendor SLAs and relaying outage information to staff.

Information Management

Remain on top of changing information frameworks and regulations to ensure that sensitive data is stored and protected appropriately.

Develop and communicate policies, procedures and best-practice regarding all Information Technology.

Stay ahead of the curve with managing relevant technology risks that pose a direct threat to the business.

Support improvement of the Finance One Information Security Management System.

Provide regular risk assessments of third-party suppliers and ensure remediation of issues.

Technology Budget Strategy

Liaise with the finance department to understand and maintain budget expectations.

Monitor spending and review contracts, invoices and billing to resolve anomalies and financial issues.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

Our ideal candidate will possess:

Tertiary qualifications in the broader Information Technology space.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with significant hands-on experience implementing and managing business applications.

Vendor certifications in related disciplines are highly regarded.

Understanding of the Agile Manifesto and its impact on organisational culture.

Demonstrated experience delivering agile initiatives in high-performing teams.

Strong understanding of financial systems such as investment management, mortgages, lending (asset, unsecured, commercial, consumer), credit risk, collections, and debt purchase management

Experience in Business Process Modelling and Business Process Re-engineering.

Strong understanding of the entire Microsoft Suite and familiarity with leading Information Security Standards, particularly ISO27001.
