Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nutrition and education to young children while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook healthy meals for large groups of children using fresh ingredients and established recipes.
  • Manage inventory records and ordering systems to ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines to guarantee a safe environment for children and staff.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen facilities to the highest standards of sanitation and organization.

Requirements:

  • A valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is mandatory for this position.
  • A Working with Children Check is required for all applicants.
  • A Commercial Cookery or Hospitality certificate is desirable but not essential.
