Culinary Professional Required for Airport Lounges

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at the Qantas Lounges Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, and working effectively as part of a kitchen brigade.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dishes with precision, following recipes and maintaining portion control to create flavors that impress.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
  • Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, implementing and maintaining stock control procedures.
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy, ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
  • Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.
  • Check all food is stored and handled correctly as per current food health and hygiene regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience working in a busy kitchen and exposure to an à la carte dining experience.
  • Tertiary culinary qualifications.
  • Full working rights within Australia.
  • Own transport and valid driver's license (advantageous).
