Our business is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team on Rottnest Island.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a picturesque location, with more people holidaying at home, the island is experiencing unprecedented occupancy levels. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting guest experience on the island.

To be successful in this role, you will require flexibility to work on weekdays/weekends and holidays, as well as being comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. You will also need to demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail, great punctuality, time management and organisation skills, and a professional, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the property
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, changing linen, and restocking amenities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to lift 25kg and move items around the property
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Rights to work within Australia
