Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menu strategies that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage through effective inventory management.
- Verify that all cooked and pre-cooked foods are properly stored to maintain food safety standards.
- Prepare and ensure availability of mise en place as required to support kitchen operations.
- Liaise with Restaurant employees regarding menu items, additions, and changes to ensure seamless service.
- Collaborate with the chef on duty to ensure efficient kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cooking & culinary arts, including working in a star-class hotel or commercial kitchen.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of food preparation, health, and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all hotel departments to achieve guest satisfaction.
