
Financial Administrator Position

The primary role is to manage financial transactions, systems and administration across two growing businesses. You'll work in a supportive environment with flexible hours and the chance to shape processes as the business scales.
This position offers a hands-on, varied role where you'll take ownership of finance, systems, and administration. You'll be responsible for managing accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations, performing daily bank, card, and account reconciliations, maintaining accurate bank feeds, posting transactions, and maintaining ledgers in Xero.
You will also lead systems administration: maintain cloud tools, manage user access, clean data, and streamline workflows. Additionally, you'll handle the accounts inbox, credit applications, purchase orders, and supplier/vendor queries, prepare and prioritize payment runs, manage timesheets, and chase client approvals.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations across both businesses.
- Perform daily bank, card, and account reconciliations and maintain accurate bank feeds.
- Post transactions and maintain ledgers in Xero.

About You
We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented finance and systems professional with a proactive approach. Requirements
- 3+ years in high-volume AP, bookkeeping, or finance support roles.
- Solid purchase order experience.
- Advanced Xero skills and strong Excel capabilities.
- Experience maintaining cloud tools, managing user access, and handling data.
- Cert IV in Bookkeeping / Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent time management, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator capable of handling sensitive financial information discreetly.
