Global Operations Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of operations specialists in delivering high-quality payment processing services to our global clientele.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the APAC Manager and Global Operations to develop efficient and scalable payments and deals processing systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of payments to our global clients while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Verify payment data and guarantee compliance with local routing requirements and regulations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on international and domestic payments, as well as payment-related schemes and systems.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the settlement process of spot and forward orders adhering to specific client details in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Handle second-level escalations professionally.
  • Drive team performance to meet payment cutoffs and service level agreements.
  • Deliver results through effective team management, structure, and routine.
  • Mentor and support Operations Associates continuously and drive a culture of continuous performance improvement.
  • Accountability in managing a team of employees providing effective performance management practices.
  • Support management in audit requests, refining procedures, and defining service level agreements.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with existing banking partners.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making and eliminate obstacles to optimize operations.
  • Leads and encourages the identification, escalation, and resolution of potential risks.
  • Inspect and challenge risk controls, governance, and culture to ensure timely identification, escalation, debate, and remediation of risk across processes supported.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and controls.
  • Ad Hoc projects as requested.
