Job Title: Asset Financial Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive asset financial officer to provide high-level technical and financial support in the implementation of asset management across our organisation.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the effective use of systems and processes to support strategic asset planning, financial reporting, and operational decision-making.

  • Support the delivery of our organisation's asset management objectives by maintaining accurate financial records and systems related to capital works and asset revaluations.
  • Perform end-of-year asset financial activities and ensure timely reconciliation of transactions within the Asset Management System.
  • Access and analyse data across asset and finance systems to support reporting, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the completion and financial closure of capital works projects, ensuring compliance with internal processes and timelines.
  • Provide system support to users and contribute to asset-related projects and panels, including the Financial Asset Information Review Panel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong foundation in financial and asset management. Holding an Advanced Diploma or higher in Accounting, Asset Management, or Program Management, you bring relevant experience and a practical understanding of financial systems and processes.

A current Driver Licence and Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration are essential for this role.
