We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Stocktake Inventory Specialists in the Greater Newcastle Region.

This exciting role involves attending various Woolworths owned sites every shift, where you will conduct thorough stock counts using handheld PDAs. While on your feet for most of the day, you will ensure accuracy and efficiency in your work.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, mathematical ability, and a strong attention to detail. As a casual role, hours can vary week by week, but this opportunity provides a great chance to advance your career with the right attitude and skills.

About the Role:

  • Accurately count stock within company guidelines, timeframes, and targets
  • Work collaboratively in a productive team environment
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to WH&S and Food Safety policies
  • Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and efficient manner

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own vehicle
  • Perform repetitive tasks with ease
  • Show a positive attitude and adaptability
  • Avoid late arrivals and adhere to company policies, including dress standards
  • Be available to work flexible casual shifts from Monday to Thursday
  • Travel occasionally for up to four nights, staying in twin share accommodation at no expense to you
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
