Mental Health Clinician Role

Grampians Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our dedicated team in Ballarat Central, VIC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify and prioritise the needs of consumers and families
  • Develop, implement, and review individualised treatment plans addressing biological, psychological, and social needs
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes to ensure optimal recovery for consumers and families
  • Collaborate with Senior Clinicians and Team Leaders to deliver comprehensive bio-psycho-social clinical assessments and care plans

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Community Mental Health team
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team structure
  • Relevant professional qualification in one of the below health-related disciplines: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Psychologist Grade 2, Social Worker Grade 2, Occupational Therapist Grade 2
