Job Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to lead our Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, ensuring clinical service delivery and key performance indicator achievement.

Main Responsibilities

  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, guaranteeing high-quality service delivery and meeting set targets.
  • Support staff in their roles by providing regular supervision, coaching, and annual performance reviews, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive team environment, encouraging collaboration and innovation.
  • To effectively manage incidents, risk, and feedback, driving continuous improvement and quality enhancement.
  • Participate in governance processes and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve regional mental health services.

About You

Candidates should possess experience as mental health professionals with demonstrated leadership capabilities and a commitment to youth-focused care.

Necessary Qualifications and Experience

  • A current registration with AHPRA (where applicable).
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health, or:
  • A specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing Program or a specialist post-basic training course, or
  • A Degree or Masters in Social Work with AMHSW credential and AASW eligibility + minimum 10 years' postgraduate experience, or
  • A Degree or Masters in Occupational Therapy with minimum 10 years' postgraduate experience, or
  • Psychology Board of Australia specialist endorsement.

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
  • Training or qualifications in leadership and/or management.
