The successful applicant will join our team of dedicated professionals in the Orthopaedic Unit and / or Trauma Service, where they will undertake research alongside our current focus areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Constructing early discharge plans and liaising with other specialities as required
  • Taking part in roster for Trauma Service/ASU ward rounds on multi-trauma patients in the Intensive Care Unit (Monday - Friday)
  • Attending orthopaedic trauma handover meetings (Monday - Friday from 7:00)
  • Supervising or performing a broad spectrum of foot, ankle and lower limb trauma orthopaedic/trauma procedures
  • Attending speciality outpatient clinics
