Podiatry Assistant/Foot Hygienist Role

This position is available for an experienced Podiatry Allied Health Assistant/Foot Hygienist to join our multidisciplinary team at a residential aged care facility. The role involves attending to the general foot and nail care of residents, working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Podiatrist.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver basic foot and nail care services to residents, adhering to established guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with the clinical podiatry team, care managers, and registered nurses to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment outcomes and resident feedback

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Podiatry specialty preferred)
  • Current National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination status
