Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional person-centred care to older Australians.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, tailored treatments and meaningful interventions that support independence, participation and quality of life for older clients across both hospital and community settings.

About the Role
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, tailored treatments and meaningful interventions that support independence, participation and quality of life for older clients
  • Work across both hospital and community settings to build strong therapeutic relationships and support smooth transitions of care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each client
  • Provide ongoing support and education to clients and their families to empower them to take control of their health and wellbeing
Requirements
  • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with older adults in aged care or rehabilitation settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
