We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to join our team on a high-profile construction project in Western Sydney.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting. They will collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The engineer will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations.

A key aspect of this role is the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and change orders. The engineer will also monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Project Engineer will coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget. They will also track expenses and provide regular updates to managers.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer on projects over $50 million.
  • Experience working for a Tier 1, 2, or 3 Builder.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
  • Reliable references.
  • Must already be in Australia to be considered.
