A leading builder is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to oversee project management for a major construction project in Western Sydney.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop, implement and maintain project plans.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders for timely, cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, maintain and update project documentation such as schedules, contracts and change orders.
- Analyze progress and provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders on milestones and issues.
- Identify potential problems and escalate them to senior management when necessary.
- Proven experience in project coordination roles, preferably on large-scale construction projects.
- Experience working in the construction industry, preferably in project management or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Business Administration.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable references and ability to work independently.
- Must be physically able to work at heights and have a valid driver's license.
- Experience with commercial projects within Australia is highly desirable.
