Project Manager - Site Supervisor Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to fill the position of Site Supervisor for our upcoming project in Western Sydney.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong structural background to take on a leadership role and oversee the successful delivery of projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, overseeing excavation, structure, and finishes phases of the project, and collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.

About This Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Foreman delivering projects exceeding $50m, previous experience working with Tier 1-2 construction companies, and experience running the structure on previous projects.
  • They will also possess good proven tenure at previous companies, a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects, and a can-do attitude and good work ethic.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising all construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee the excavation, structure, and finishes phases of the project.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor project progress and report to the Site Manager on a regular basis.
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff, preparing them for future leadership roles.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Foreman delivering projects exceeding $50m.
  • Previous experience working with Tier 1-2 construction companies.
  • Experience running the structure on previous projects.
  • Good proven tenure at previous companies.
  • Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects.
  • A can-do attitude and good work ethic.
