Business Development Executive

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our sales team as a Business Development Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key business clients, executing strategies to increase growth and revenue, and providing timely issue resolution.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions to maximize revenue growth.
  • Create strategic plans to increase client retention and up-sell opportunities, resulting in increased revenue through enhanced customer experience and loyalty.
  • Provide accurate and timely analytics and reporting mechanisms to clients through regular business reviews and meetings.
  • Work closely with the existing business team to develop standard methodologies for client on-boarding and ensure seamless transitions, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Act as a payment expert for merchants, delivering education, leadership, and guidance on their global payments strategy and operations.
  • Develop and maintain a current knowledge of all services provided by the company and maintain professional relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relationship management, account management experience or similar role.
  • Experience in inside sales, handling customer objections and leading customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and planning skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in multiple languages is a plus, allowing for effective communication with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with Smartsheets, Salesforce, Looker, and Zendesk is a plus, enhancing technical skills and capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time, supporting business development efforts and client relationships.
