The role of a Medical Imaging Trainee is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to embark on their career in medical imaging.

Working under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in medical ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver medical imaging services commensurate with training and experience within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Apply increasingly independent clinical judgment to more complex clinical decision making under the professional guidance of a senior clinician.

  • As experience builds in Medical Ultrasound, apply increasingly independent clinical judgment to more complex clinical decision making under the professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and respect for all patients, caregivers, and staff.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the relevant health directives.
  • Hold at least a tertiary degree qualification enabling enrollment in a Post Graduate Medical Ultrasound program accredited by the relevant accreditation register.
  • Must be registered as a student sonographer with the relevant accreditation register.
