About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join our Consumer Finance division. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of compliance risk management and retail banking products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compliance advice to the Consumer Finance division, ensuring that all business initiatives and projects meet regulatory requirements.
  • Review and challenge key business initiatives and projects, including regulatory change, product migrations, and simplification initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships with other functions, such as Operational Risk, Business Controls Monitoring, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs.
Requirements
  • Experience in compliance risk management for retail credit products.
  • Experience and understanding of retail banking products and the regulatory environment, including the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, Banking Code of Practice, and Privacy Act.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid digitisation and technology change.
  • Proven track record in working with complexity and ambiguity, managing through complex organisation, and managing divergent drivers and objectives to produce optimal overall Group outcomes.
