Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA) is a leading provider of OTR (Off the Road) Tyre solutions to the mining industry. We are seeking an experienced National HR Advisor to join our People, Culture & Governance (PC&G) Team.

This role is based in Western Australia and will focus on Otraco's 500+ headcount in WA, NSW, and QLD. You will collaborate across the combined BMSA/Otraco workforce to maintain ongoing communication and provide necessary advice and support on PC&G issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain consistent application of policies and procedures across all Regions and States
  • Provide advice and assistance on disciplinary procedures, warnings, and dismissals
  • Maintain Roster Calculations for Otraco Operations Nationally, create and update as required
  • Provide assistance to Managers and Superintendents with their direct reports' with Probationary Reviews & Performance Feedback and Development Plans
  • Advise and assist Supervisors and Managers of their obligations when managing HR/IR issues
  • Implement succession planning across the business and assist managers in coaching styles relevant to their teams
  • Complete calculations and Payroll Arrangements for any relevant pay increase
  • Liaise with Recruitment Team to ensure a seamless transfer of operational personnel.
About You

This role requires someone with great interpersonal skills, clear communication, and high organisational capabilities. The demands of the role are ever-changing, so the need to be flexible is a must. Ideally, you will possess:

  • 3 years' experience in a similar role with sound knowledge of business practices ideally with a mining background
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
  • General understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures across the board
  • Highly refined time management skills and ability to deal with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven
  • Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality
  • Demonstrable experience as a valued team member with exceptional interpersonal skills
