Otraco International, a leading provider of Earthmover/Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry, is seeking a highly skilled National PCG Advisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice and assistance to Otraco's HR team across WA, NSW, and QLD operations.
- Participate in various People Services initiatives and provide direction to line managers and employees.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across all regions and states.
- Provide advice and assistance on disciplinary procedures, warnings, and dismissals.
- Maintain roster calculations for Otraco operations nationally.
- Provide assistance to managers and superintendents with direct reports' probationary reviews, performance feedback, and development plans.
- Advise and assist supervisors and managers on HR/IR issues.
- Implement succession planning across the business and assist managers in coaching styles relevant to their teams.
- Complete calculations and payroll arrangements for relevant pay increases.
- Liaise with the recruitment team to ensure seamless transfer of operational personnel.
This role requires someone with great interpersonal skills, clear communication, and high organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3 years' experience in a similar role with sound knowledge of business practices, ideally with a mining background.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
- General understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Highly refined time management skills and ability to deal with conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven.
- Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrable experience as a valued team member with exceptional interpersonal skills.
