Job Opportunity: Administration Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  • Respond to inquiries with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and redirect calls efficiently.
  • Prepare admission paperwork accurately.
  • Perform health fund checks as required.
  • Manage the collection of emergency department deposits, health fund excess/co-payments, and out-of-pocket fees.
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records.
  • Work effectively in an acute patient-focused healthcare environment.
  • Apply strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Utilize highly developed organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exercise strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate well independently and within a team.
  • Operate MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) proficiently.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including 7-day rotating rosters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • WebPas Hospital system experience.
