Senior Payroll Manager Job Description

The Senior Payroll Manager will be responsible for the strategic management and accuracy of payroll operations across the organization. This role will lead a team of payroll officers and oversee the implementation of new payroll systems, processes, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective payroll strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data, salaries, benefits, and taxes.
  • Lead the payroll team in providing exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to deliver timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing payroll operations, including staff supervision and training.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, including Micropay and Human Force.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
