Job Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Group Payroll Manager, you'll mentor a strong team and oversee a dynamic, end-to-end payroll function. Expect to be hands-on with:

  • Leading and guiding a medium-sized payroll team
  • Ensuring accurate weekly payroll processing (including pay adjustments and leave)
  • Managing annual, long-service, and personal leave administration
  • Onboarding new starters and processing terminations/payroll adjustments
  • Producing insightful end-of-month payroll reports
  • Decoding and applying award rules and EBAs
  • Supporting the Head of Payroll with ad-hoc projects
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a similar payroll leadership role as well as the following attributes:
  • Large payroll system experience such as SAP, UKG, iChris is required
  • Ideally experience within the retail industry or a similar industry
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Prior experience in interpreting EBAs and awards
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation attributes
