About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Lead to join our Policy and Research team at No To Violence. As a key member of our team, you will drive our research agenda, develop and deliver high-quality research projects, and influence the national family violence research agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver research projects that inform our advocacy and policy work
  • Manage our involvement in external research projects and collaborations
  • Provide evidence-based policy analysis to inform our advocacy and policy work
  • Support policy initiatives in specific jurisdictions
  • Translate research knowledge to stakeholders, including member organisations
Requirements
  • Post-graduate tertiary qualification in Public Policy, Gender Studies, Sociology, Criminology, or other relevant disciplines
  • Demonstrated commitment to centring the experiences of marginalised communities and peoples' experiences of family violence in research
  • Strong qualitative research skills, with quantitative research skills an advantage
  • Understanding of the Australian family violence research landscape and current research opportunities
  • Demonstrable experience managing and delivering impactful research projects in similar research roles
