Residential Practitioner

You are a compassionate and resilient individual with life experience, seeking to make a difference in the lives of young people. As a residential care practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children living in residential services.
With a strong ability to understand and work with children, you will provide personal care that respects their dignity and privacy. You will help create an environment that promotes positive respect and provides care that meets a young person's needs.
What's Involved- Supporting young people in residential houses
- Providing personal care and creating a safe environment
- Working flexible shifts, including overnight rosters
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant qualification
- Current Driver's license
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Passion for youth work and ideally experience in residential care
