Job Overview

The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service is seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage our Adult Program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients with complex care needs.
  • Develop strategic relationships with other service providers to enhance our integrated service system.
  • Assist in planning, budgeting, and resource management to achieve performance goals and benchmarks.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and training to staff, promoting quality improvement, research projects, and multidisciplinary team activities.
Key Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in family violence, clinical, and therapeutic management skills, with experience working with complex care needs.
  • Proven track record in contemporary management practices, including purchasing of services, best practice methods, quality improvement, and financial resource management.
  • Highly developed self-management skills, interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution, liaison, and marketing abilities.
  • Strong service planning, development, and evaluation skills, with an understanding of the political, social, and organisational environment affecting service provision.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement, and research.
