Job Overview

We are seeking an Allied Health Professional to lead clinical operations of our Eating Disorder Service. This service delivers integrated specialist care for adults with an eating disorder, including Community-Based Intensive Treatment Programs and a statewide Residential Recovery Program.

The role requires clinicians who can deliver quality care. No prior experience in eating disorders is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversee day-to-day operations of the team.
  • Lead the development and management of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist community intensive-based treatment for adults with an eating disorder.
  • Optimize clinical processes and client outcomes.
  • Effectively manage resources.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and change management to facilitate service development.
  • Enhance consumer participation at all levels of the service.
Qualifications
  • Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program and registration with the relevant National Board.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
  • Registration/licences essential for the role must remain current.
  • Desirable: minimum of 3 years current postgraduate experience in mental health or relevant field; experience/interest in eating disorders or other mental health conditions.
