
Workforce Compliance Specialist

About this role:
We're looking for a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist to join our Workforce Program team. Based at our central office, you will play a key role in supporting enterprise agreement implementation and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and industrial instruments.
This specialist will be integral to our strategic workforce initiatives, ensuring we are positioned to attract and retain a skilled workforce while meeting all legislative and industrial requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting reviews of workforce contracts to identify and address potential risks
- Assessing time and wages data to ensure alignment with the enterprise agreement and Fair Work Act
- Supporting the implementation of new enterprise agreements, including change management planning and consultation
- Providing expert advice on employment law, industrial relations, and policy application
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support remediation of compliance issues and develop workforce-related policies
- Assisting with BOOT testing, contract issuance, and industrial relations change projects
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- 5+ years' experience in employee relations or industrial relations within a complex organization
- Experience in the aged care or health sectors (desirable)
- Qualifications in change management or project management
- Expertise in interpreting enterprise agreements, awards, and employment law
- Strong analytical and Excel skills to manage data and assess compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and drive change
