Employment Relations Specialist

This position supports the workforce program team in implementing enterprise agreements and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and industrial instruments.

The Employment Relations Specialist is integral to Juniper's strategic workforce initiatives, ensuring we are positioned to attract and retain a skilled workforce while meeting all legislative and industrial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct workforce contract compliance reviews to identify and address potential risks
  • Assess time and wages data to ensure alignment with the enterprise agreement and Fair Work Act
  • Support implementation of Juniper's new 2025 Enterprise Agreement, including change management planning and consultation
  • Provide expert advice on employment law, industrial relations, and policy application
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support remediation of compliance issues and develop workforce-related policies
  • Assist with BOOT testing, contract issuance, and industrial relations change projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in employee relations or industrial relations within a complex organization
  • Experience in the aged care or health sectors (desirable)
  • Qualifications in change management or project management
  • Expertise in interpreting enterprise agreements, awards, and employment law
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills to manage data and assess compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and drive change
