Senior Risk Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Manager, Risk to join our team. This pivotal role supports the Head of Risk in the strategic management of risk and control frameworks across the organization.

At our company, we're embarking on a significant uplift and transformation of our risk management framework. We aim to strengthen the foundations and enhance our capacity and capability to build a resilient, safe, and ready future for our members, colleagues, business partners, and each other.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic risk advisory services, identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact organizational objectives and compliance. They will collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance risk management practices and promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic risk advisory services across our company
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance risk management practices
  • Review and challenge our company Business Unit risk profiles
  • Support the implementation of the Risk Management Framework
  • Contribute to risk reporting for the Audit and Risk Committee
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the organization

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
  • Experience in risk advisory, preferably within the industry or institutional investment organizations
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles
  • In-depth knowledge of risk assessments and control implementation
