We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Tennant Creek, NT.

The successful applicant will work on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off days-only roster, performing various tasks including unloading, loading, sorting, and weighing samples onto drying racks while maintaining numerical order.

Responsibilities will also include reconciling samples delivered with the sample submission form, crushing, filter pressing, splitting samples, and transferring sub-samples for digestion, all while adhering to established quality control procedures.

Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (desired)
  • Previous laboratory experience (desired)
  • Experience with AAS and PAL (desired but not essential)
