Laboratory Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Laboratory Assistant, working on a roster of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, days only.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Unloading, loading, sorting, and weighing samples onto drying racks while maintaining numerical order.
• Reconciling samples delivered with the sample submission form, including extras and those not received, onto the sample sorting sheet (ISO sheet).
• Crushing, filter pressing, splitting samples, and transferring sub-samples for digestion, maintaining numerical order and following established quality control procedures to avoid contamination.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent experience.
• Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AAS and PAL systems is also desirable but not essential.
