Lead Retail Sales Team Member

Join a dynamic retail team as we look for an experienced Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of passionate retail professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales performance and foster a customer-centric culture
  • Partner with the store manager to achieve business objectives through effective leadership and collaboration
  • Recruit, train, and coach the retail sales team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding results
  • Support day-to-day store operations including rostering, financial management, and administrative tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to create a unique shopping experience that delivers exceptional customer service

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and profitability through effective selling techniques and product knowledge
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide styling solutions and recommendations
  • Coach and guide the sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Contribute to creating a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in retail sales with a proven track record of achieving targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to make informed decisions that drive business growth
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • A genuine interest in home-styling, furniture, or creating welcoming living spaces is a plus
