Dimensional Control Professional

Be part of a team that drives innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology. As a Dimensional Control Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing dimensional control activities across all aspects of the Hunter Class Frigate Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily dimensional control allocated surveys with precision and accuracy.
  • Provide detailed reports on dimensional control activities, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize dimensional control and surveying skills to deliver high-quality products.
  • Evaluate and report non-conformances, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Implement a culture of 'Right First Time' with Zero Defects within the maritime business unit.
  • Offer recommendations to enhance dimensional control processes and standard procedures, driving continuous improvement.
  • Assist in internal product audits and completion of dimensional control inspections, guaranteeing quality and reliability.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant trade qualifications, demonstrating expertise in dimensional control or survey measuring activities.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in utilizing Total Stations, Auto Level, Theodolites, Scanners, and other specialized equipment.
  • Surveying experience is beneficial, with proficiency in 3D modeling software and GD&T advantageous.
  • Eligibility for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations.
