Director of Medical Operations

About the Role:
The Director of Medical Services will work closely with the facility's leadership to drive functional operational performance across the organisation. The DMS will have delegated authority to coordinate activities across departments, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective patient flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior executives to achieve strategic objectives
- Provide a point of escalation for cross-functional issues affecting patient access and flow
- Coordinate the resolution of unresolved front-line issues
Requirements:
- Evidence of vaccination or ability to be vaccinated against certain diseases
- Tuberculosis screening
- Declaration of serious disciplinary history
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) registrable with the relevant medical board, plus specialist registration with AHPRA
- Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (or significant progress towards)
