Warehouse Operations Director

Tweed Heads is home to our state-of-the-art facility, and we are seeking a visionary leader to oversee its warehouse and transport operations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practice processes to drive efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities include ensuring occupational health and safety requirements are met, managing operational and labour expenditure, and overseeing the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS).

We are looking for a strong leader who can provide direction to warehouse managers, transport managers, stock controllers, shift supervisors, and site personnel.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for establishing best practices, developing Standard Operating Procedures, and contributing to the development of continuous improvement initiatives to maximise operational efficiencies and site profitability.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent knowledge of end-to-end operational, warehouse, distribution, and inventory functions

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Proven ability to develop and mentor leaders to foster a high-performing culture

- Experience in managing employee relations in a unionised environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional disposition
