Our organisation is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of disability support workers.

We are a leading provider of support services to individuals with disabilities across Australia, and we require experienced and compassionate individuals to assist us in delivering exceptional care.

This role involves providing support to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in a shared living arrangement (SIL) and respite services in the Logan region.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities, a strong understanding of their needs, and be able to provide high-quality care and support.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a Certificate III in Individual Support or currently studying
  • at least 12 months paid experience supporting people with physical & intellectual disabilities in SILs
  • Australian Driver's License
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid roles
  • National Police Check (within last 6 months or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Reliable smartphone with data

Care Services:
  • Assist individuals in SIL arrangements and respite services
  • Provide personal care activities such as hygiene, medication, manual handling, domestic tasks, and meals
  • Follow positive behaviour support plans (PBSP) and facilitate community, social, and recreational activities
  • Transport participants using company vehicle or own to community outings
