Consultant - Process and Controls - Risk Consulting

We are seeking a skilled consultant to join our team in the process and controls practice. As a key member of our team, you will work with top-tier clients to address their biggest risks through forward-looking, technology-enabled internal audit.

This is a hybrid role based in Brisbane, offering the opportunity to work flexibly with reduced hours. Our roles can be adjusted to accommodate your needs, so please discuss potential options with us.

About the Role
  • You will have the opportunity to work on multiple client engagement teams across various sectors.
  • You will contribute to the delivery of processes, solutions, and projects by delivering agreed activities, researching, and presenting relevant information to inform recommendations.
  • You will assist your client engagement teams by helping to identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve process efficiency, effectiveness, and business performance.
  • You will be accountable for delivering your own work and meeting required targets which impact the immediate team.
Requirements
  • Broad awareness of the technical principles involved in the delivery of internal audits and different service offerings.
  • Ability to understand and apply the correct methodology, tools, and technology.
  • Ability to develop rapport with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their business and their needs.
  • Communicates effectively with engagement teams and clients through careful questioning and listening.
  • Ability to present and deliver facts and analyses in ways that keep the listener's attention.
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues across the business, supporting them and promoting a collaborative culture.
