Job Title: Audit and Advisory Expert

The Internal Audit team provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services to enhance operations.

As an Audit and Advisory Expert, you will conduct risk-based internal audits, including scoping, execution, and delivery of audit assignments. You will evaluate processes and controls, provide advice to business leaders on risk management activities, and embody our organisational culture.

You will deliver risk-based internal audit work, collaborate with the Internal Audit team to complete risk and control assessments, and provide advice and assistance in developing actions to mitigate identified risks.

You will contribute to the development of a multi-year risk-based internal audit plan, build strong working relationships with stakeholders, and support creating a culture of exceptional service and teamwork.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting risk-based internal audits, including scoping, execution, and delivery of audit assignments.
  • Contributing to the development of a multi-year risk-based internal audit plan.
  • Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Requirements include:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role in financial services or professional services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and handle concurrent projects.
  • Sound data interrogation and analytical skills to recognise, analyse, and evaluate risks and controls.

Qualifications include:

  • Degree qualification in accounting, finance, IT, or a related field.
  • Relevant qualifications from professional bodies (or studying towards) such as CPA, CA, CIA, or IIA.
