Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our internal audit function, contributing to a positive control environment and the delivery of our remit.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the function's strategic direction, providing timely assurance to stakeholders and making significant contributions to risk management practices and governance mechanisms.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute up-to-date internal audit strategies, advisory engagements, and dynamic audit activities aligned with the changing risk landscape.
- Provide consulting services to support colleagues in executing their core responsibilities and identify best practices.
- Develop innovative strategies to support senior leaders on continuous business improvement opportunities.
- Build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to embed practical risk intelligence and maintain knowledge of contemporary practices.
- Develop and empower a high-performing team, emphasizing collaboration and sustainable outcomes.
- Model inclusive leadership behaviours and foster an open culture within the team.
