Job Description

This role involves carrying out thorough and efficient inspections, cleaning, and/or bird-proofing of solar panel arrays. You will also be responsible for the safe cleaning of roof gutters and valleys.

Work is predominantly carried out in residential environments, but may also involve commercial/industrial sites with a higher level of safety protocols to adhere to.

  • Conduct risk assessments prior to commencing work.
  • Liaise with clients and staff to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Clean, inspect, and bird-proof solar panel arrays.
  • Clean roof gutters and valleys.
  • Complete reports, including capturing photos on mobile devices.
  • Ensure follow-up and corrective action items are reported.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Working at Heights Training (RIIWHS204E).
  • White Card (CPCWHS1001).
  • Able to use Apple iPhone/iPad.
  • Basic Microsoft skills.
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to behave professionally and respectfully when dealing with clients.
  • Understand the importance of property care when working within client premises.
Benefits

This role offers a casual rate of $32-$35 per hour, with opportunities to progress to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Work is based on the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Hunter, and Newcastle regions.

Please note that previous experience in working at heights, glass cleaning, or electrical contracting is preferred but not essential.
