**About the role**

Join Countryman Solar Pty Ltd. as a Part-time Electrical & Solar Trade Assistant in Newcastle, NSW. This hands-on role will see you assisting our qualified electricians and solar technicians with the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar power systems.

**What you'll be doing**
- Provide trade assistance to our qualified electricians and solar technicians
- Install solar panels, inverters, and other electrical components
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on solar power systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standard
- Keep detailed records and documentation of all work carried out
- Collaborate with the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience as a trade assistant or in a similar role
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- White Card
- Basic hand tools
- Working at Heights Ticket (WAH)
- Construction and trade assistant experience
- Vehicle and Driver's Licence
- Able to work alongside tradesmen
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Full working rights in Australia

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 03/02/2025
