Merchandise Manager

This critical role requires building long-lasting partnerships with customers and delivering advice and services using specialist knowledge of agricultural products and supplies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales of rural merchandise, including Agricultural chemicals, Seed, Animal health, Animal Management, Fencing, Water equipment and General Merchandise.
  • Inventory management, forecasting, planning, procurement, ordering, sales processing, logistics, stock controls and stocktakes.
  • Collaboration with management, agronomists, procurement and other team members to meet client needs and requirements.
  • Management of regional storage warehouse facility and associated logistics.
  • Working with supplier representatives to deliver value and solutions to clients and customers, implementing marketing initiatives to grow business.
About You
  • Strong technical background, experience in pricing and margin management, and sales target achievement through effective category development.
  • Agricultural industry knowledge and warehouse management experience preferred.
