About this Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support a leading healthcare provider in Australia, delivering integrated, supportive care to patients.
Palliative Care offers sensitive and compassionate medical and supportive care for patients with a life limiting illness, their families and carers. The team are drawn from various health disciplines including specialists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and volunteers.
The role sits within the Ambulatory Care Business Unit, which manages the centralised workforce structure for all administrative staff across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team, managing patient records and data entry.
- Respond to queries and provide information to patients, families, and carers.
- Assist with coordination of care plans and facilitate communication between healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- A high school certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in an administrative setting, with established computer literacy and typing skills.
- Knowledge of billing systems.
